Bennett Lawn & Landscape is a hardscape and landscaping company based in Stittsville, founded in 2020 by Isaac Bennett. Since the beginning, the business has been built around one straightforward idea, do the work properly, show up personally, and stand behind the result.

Who Is Isaac Bennett

Isaac started the business at a point when he could see a clear gap in the local market: homeowners who wanted quality hardscape and landscaping work done by someone they could actually talk to, not a large company that handed jobs off to whoever was available that week.

He runs every project himself. That means he’s on site from day one, working with the same crew throughout, making decisions in real time rather than relaying instructions through a project manager. Clients who call the number on the website speak to Isaac. Clients who get a quote meet Isaac on their property. The person who designs the layout is the same person who builds it.

That hasn’t changed since 2020, and it’s not changing as the business grows.

What We Build

Since 2020, Bennett Lawn & Landscape has completed interlock patios, retaining walls, front entrance rebuilds, full backyard transformations, sod installations, garden bed designs, pergolas, outdoor fire pits, and step builds with integrated lighting. Projects have ranged from small front walkway replacements in Nepean to multi-week full-property builds in Manotick and Carp.

Every project, regardless of size, starts with proper excavation and base preparation. Ottawa’s clay soil, frost depth near two metres, and freeze-thaw cycles mean that cutting corners on the base shows up within a season or two. We’ve repaired enough failed patios from other contractors to know exactly what was skipped. We don’t skip it.

Working in one region since 2020 means understanding it, the soil conditions in Barrhaven differ from those in Carleton Place. Drainage behaves differently on a flat Kanata lot than on a sloped Stittsville property. Frost heave affects front entrance steps differently from backyard patios.
